Son las 6:40 y estoy en el Internet porque me despertó la primera de dos alarmas en mi móvil. Olvidé apagarla. Como mi novio estaba en casa de sus abuelos ayer y hoy saldrá para Florida, no hablé con él hoy, pero comuniqué con mi papá y me dijo que estaba lloviendo en Massachusetts. Aquí hacía buen tiempo, hacía frío pero se podía ver el sol.
Tengo quince minutos antes que suena mi segunda alarma así que escribiré rápido. Hoy (que voy a decir en vez de ayer porque para mí el día empieza después de ducharme) tuve cuatro clases. Todas me gustan, pero pienso que las de historia van a ser mis favoritas. Después de mi última clase fui a una pizzería muy cercana, PizzBit, donde todos los estudiantes de UMass aquí en Oviedo nos reunimos. La pizza estaba... interesante... no nos encantó, pero la comimos de todos modos. Luego fui con un grupito pequeño a Salesas para comprar una carpeta verde de 13 divisiones. Algunos no habían comprado fotos de carnet así que también hicimos eso. Luego caminé a la avenida Galicia con un amigo mio y charlamos. A él también le gusta explorar la ciudad.
A las 9 salí del apartamento y fui para la Gorda para reunirme con unos amigos para encontrar el Bar 12, donde iban a dar una clase de salsa. Mientras caminaba recibí un texto de Rita (cuyo blog está aquí: ) que me dijo que íbamos a reunirnos a las 10 en vez de las 9:30. Como ya había salido no quise volver a casa, así que esperaba en la plaza hasta que llegaron los demás. Tenía frío. No saqué fotos, lo siento, pero tal vez la próxima vez que me reuna con alguien ahí traeré mi cámara y la usaré. Y como regalo para los que leen este blog (o por lo menos lo echan un vistazo de vez en cuando), aquí están algunas fotos que sí saqué hoy.
No sé qué estaba pasando aquí pero parece igual al movimiento Occupy. / I don't know what was going on here but it looks just like the Occupy movement.

It's 6:40 and I'm on the Internet because the first of my two alarms on my cell phone woke me up. I forgot to turn it off. As my boyfriend was at his grandparents' house yesterday and today he'll leave for Florida, I didn't talk to him today, but I communicated with my dad and he told me it was raining in Massachusetts. Here we had good weather, it was cold but you could see the sun.
I have fifteen minutes before my next alarm goes off so I'll write fast. Today (which I will say instead of yesterday because for me the day starts after I shower) I had four classes. I like all of them, but I think the history ones are going to be my favorites. After my last class I went to a nearby pizza place, PizzBit, where all the UMass students here in Oviedo met up. The pizza tasted... interesting... we didn't love it, but we ate it anyway. Later I went with a small group to Salesas to get a green folder with 13 divisions. Some people hadn't bought passport size photos so we did that too. Later I walked to the avenue Galicia with a friend of mine and we chatted. He also likes to explore the city.
At 9 I left the apartment and went to La Gorda to meet up with some friends to find Bar 12, where they were going to have a salsa class. When I was walking I got a text from Rita (whose blog is here: ) that said we were going to meet at 10 instead of 9:30. As I'd already left I didn't want to go back home, so I waited in the plaza until everyone else showed up. I was cold. I didn't take photos, sorry, but maybe the next time I meet with someone there I'll bring my camera and use it. And as a gift to those who read this blog (or at least take a look at it every once in a while), here are some photos I did take today.
Well, it's 7:30 and I have to take a shower, so I'll say goodbye now. Until next time, Grace

ReplyDeleteLaura, sólo me quedo por un semestre, y no tiene nada que ver con Erasmus, es un programa de la Universidad de Massachusetts. Erasmus organiza unos eventos, eso es todo.
